Meander is a common type of orthogonal ornament. It has been known since the Paleolithic era. In ancient art, it is a geometric ornament motif formed by a line broken at a right angle or spiral curls.
The product is made of bronze - an ancient alloy that was “born” 5 thousand years ago. Bronze is copper with a small amount of tin added: thanks to this additive, the alloy becomes stronger than pure copper. Dark spots on the products are the result of blackening, that is, chemical and heat treatment of the metal. All sparkling surfaces are pure metal, polished to a mirror shine, which can be preserved if you regularly wipe the product with a soft (flannel or woolen) cloth, preferably lubricated with GOI paste, or use “folk” methods.
