Pendant Boar K3-11P
The ferocity of the wild boar has always caused a mixture of fear, admiration and respect. The boar is associated with fearlessness and courage. Its image is also associated with natural forces and processes: the animal is also considered a symbol of fertility. The boar can have both solar and lunar meaning: its solar hypostasis is the male principle, militancy and fighting power. The white boar is considered lunar, feminine, and reflects the principle of water, since it lives in swampy areas. In heraldry, the boar denotes "a fully armed, desperate and courageous warrior who knightly confronts the enemy in battle and is not inclined to retreat in any way." And in the myths of Ancient Greece, the boar was considered an attribute of Demeter, the goddess of fertility. Material: patinated (blackened) bronze
The items are made of bronze - an ancient alloy, “born” 5 thousand years ago. Bronze is copper with a small amount of tin added: thanks to this additive, the alloy becomes stronger than pure copper. Dark spots on the items are the result of blackening, that is, chemical and heat treatment of the metal. All sparkling surfaces are pure metal, polished to a mirror shine, which can be preserved if you regularly wipe the item with a soft (flannel or woolen) cloth, preferably lubricated with GOI paste, or use “folk” methods.
Size (LxWxH): 31 x4 x15 mm.
Weight: 42g.
